A Poem from Julius
For You
All my life before you came I was blind, I couldn’t see, Everyday was the same I was ashamed of myself.
I didn’t know who I was Nor did I care about what I had, But it all came to pass When you came, I was glad.
I didn’t know I had the potential Nor did I believe myself, I didn’t know I was special That I was a pearl.
No words can express How you filled an empty cup, In me, you’ve always had faith By teaching me how to see beyond.
You’ve inspired me to dreams To have lofty inspirations, This is for you dear teacher Because I no longer have lamentations.
To my teacher and friend I can never thank you enough, But if time comes when you need a hand Do call me and for you…
I will be tough

Got to Know Me More Personally
I am a pure blooded Cebuano who attained my Bachelor of Science degree, major in Biology accelerated program from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. I finished Doctor of Medicine from the same institution in 1994 and has a short stint as a resident physician in some local hospitals in my hometown. Teaching being my first love, I worked as a part time HS Chemistry teacher but later decided to go on fulltime teaching. I have acquired education units from Southwestern University and went on to study Master in Education major in Student Leadership at De La Salle University, Manila under the CEAP-SIGS scholarship program.
I have taken special training programs in Catholic educational leadership, in teaching English as a second language, in educational technology, and in other professional interests. My teaching experience includes teaching high school English and computer related subjects for nine years. I have gone from being a student activity coordinator to prefect of discipline, to academic coordinator and presently as a high school principal.
I have authored research papers both in Education and in Science. I have written modules in English for students, and teachers of non-English subjects taught in English. I also co-authored the Computer Education program of the RVM Visayas region and wrote computer programming manuals for students. I am a curriculum engineer who has co-authored the RVM English, Science and Mathematics curricula. Currently I sit as the HS representative in the National RVM Education Association of the Philippines.
I am fondly referred to as Doki by students and close acquaintances in reference to my medical background and experience. I am single, 37 years old, and enjoy traveling and learning the culture of other places. I love to read and write, and tinker with the computer on my free time. I also engage in social and hospital work if time allows me as a matter of personal mission.
